I am a bit delayed in posting about this… sorry! But, remember my little seahorse block from the New Block Blog Hop? Back in September? Well, Quilting Jet Girl finished the charity quilts! Yvonne (the Jet Girl herself) posted about it nearly a month ago, but I have been so busy that I haven’t even thought to post about it. I know, right?! How could I forget to show off such an awesome quilt??
Click the link or the photo above to see the whole quilt. It is a bit hard to see the detail of the quilting on some of the blocks, so be sure to look closely at the photos she posted of the quilt back as well. Didn’t she do an awesome job?! I really love the way it came out, and I am so happy to have had a small part in the making of that quilt. I truly hope it brings comfort to a child somewhere through Project Linus. And in addition to the awesome lap quilt, she also made a lovely baby quilt using six other blocks from the blog hop. You can check that out in a separate post here.
Oh and by the way, if you ordered a Quilter’s Planner of your own, you can find my little guy on the last week of June! Yes, I am officially published for real. If you haven’t ordered one yet, you still can! The price is a bit higher now at $39.98, but it really is an awesome planner. And since there was such a huge demand for the planners, Stephanie (aka The Late Night Quilter) has also decided to sell them in brick and mortar stores. So if you would like your local shop(s) to carry the planner, be sure to share the Quilter’s Planner website with them!
