I finished my Project QUILTING challenge! It isn’t the best thing I have ever done, but I only had one week to figure out what I was going to make and then make it. This seemed like a good opportunity to practice free motion quilting. If you zoom in on the picture those wavy lines were all done free hand, and you can certainly tell how inexperienced I am at it by how uneven all the stitch lengths are. Gotta start somewhere though! Even if this isn’t that great, it was an excellent learning opportunity. I was able to practice free motion quilting, stitch in the ditch, and paper piecing.
Part of the challenge required me to talk about the process of making it, so head over to the project page for the full story if you care to read more about it.[manual_related_posts]
